The challenges

Young adults with disabilities often face more challenges
regarding work, career choices, higher education, and independence.

Transition to Adulthood

Transition To Adulthood

There are organizations and agencies that help with the transition into adulthood for young adults with disabilities. However, there aren't enough. As a result, our community faces a critical deficiency of transitional services for these individuals.

Employment

It can be challenging for young adults with disabilities to find long-term employment. This can provide little support in the development of work skills, as well as financial issues.

Resume Writing

Self-Advocacy

Some individuals struggle with self-advocacy during job interviews, classes and when applying to universities. This skill is essential to develop an individual's career and education opportunities.
